Notice of change (2026-09-07): We clarified the step of confirming that Whop automatic renewal has stopped when an account is deleted, and when data is destroyed, to match how this actually works. Prices and refund terms did not change.
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set out the conditions for using Confluence Zone (the "Service") and the rights, obligations and
responsibilities of the operator and users.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- Service: All web and app tools that provide analysis information on stocks and cryptocurrencies, such as
regime assessment, strategy analysis, technical indicator scores, backtesting and alerts.
- User: Anyone who uses the Service under these Terms.
- Member: A user who signs in with a sign-in method offered by the Service (a social account such as Google,
Kakao or Naver) to use the Service.
- Membership: The status of a member who uses extended features through a paid subscription.
- Analysis information: All output that the Service calculates and displays, such as scores, condition fit,
signals, warnings, backtest results and alerts.
Article 3 (Effect of and changes to these Terms)
- These Terms take effect when they are posted on the Service screen.
- The operator may change these Terms within the limits of applicable law. When they change, the effective date and
the changes are announced in the Service at least 7 days before they take effect (at least 30 days for important
changes that are unfavorable to users).
- If you keep using the Service after changed Terms are announced, you are deemed to have agreed to the change.
Article 4 (What the Service provides)
- The Service is an analysis tool for information and research, based on public market data.
- Features: ticker search, market and stock regime assessment, condition-fit scoring by investing strategy, technical
indicator confluence score, charts, backtesting, watchlist scans, and (membership) condition alerts.
- The tickers supported by default (free) are announced in the Service. The scope of use for other tickers may differ
by member and membership tier. The scope for each tier is stated in the pricing information.
- There is no live trading (ordering or execution) feature.
Article 5 (Accounts)
- Some features of the Service may require signing in with a social account (Google, Kakao, Naver and so on).
Members can link several social accounts to one account on My Page.
- Members are responsible for keeping their account information accurate and for the security of their account
(such as passwords for their devices and social accounts). Members are responsible for activity on their account.
- If you learn of unauthorized use of your account, you must tell the operator without delay.
- When a member leaves, the operator deletes their personal data without delay, except information that must be kept
under applicable law.
Article 6 (Not investment advice or brokerage)
The Service is not an investment advisory, discretionary investment management or investment brokerage business
under the Financial Investment Services and Capital Markets Act of Korea, and it does not make investment decisions
on behalf of individual users.
- Analysis information is not a solicitation or recommendation to buy or sell any particular security. It is
reference material for users to make their own decisions, and it is general information that does not
consider any individual user's investment goals, financial situation or risk tolerance.
- Strategy analysis consists of calculation rules the operator built independently with reference to publicly known
investment philosophies. The persons or institutions concerned are not actually evaluating or recommending any security.
- Backtest results and past statistics are only calculations on past data and do not guarantee future returns.
- For all analysis information, including alerts, the final decision on any investment or trade, and responsibility
for its results (gains and losses), rest entirely with the user.
Article 7 (Data sources and limits)
- Price and financial data are collected from outside providers and are not real time
(stock prices are usually delayed by about 15 minutes). The data source and reference time are shown on screen.
- The Service does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of data and analysis information. There may
be errors, omissions, delays or corrections, and unless the law specifically requires it, the Service has no
obligation to update or correct them retroactively.
- If an outside provider fails, the Service may run on the last stored data it collected. In that case, this is shown on screen.
- Before any important decision, you should check official sources such as the exchange and regulatory filings yourself.
Article 8 (User obligations and prohibited conduct)
- You must use the Service in a way that does not violate applicable law or these Terms.
- You must not do any of the following:
- Attempt unauthorized access to the Service or related systems, or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service
- Use automated means (crawlers, scrapers and so on) to put excessive load on the servers, or to collect analysis
information or data in bulk
- Redistribute, resell, publish or commercially use analysis information or data for third parties without the
operator's prior written consent (personal, non-commercial sharing through the sharing features the Service provides is excluded)
- Build or train a model, dataset or service that competes with the Service, using the Service or data obtained from it
- Rework analysis information into material that supports investment solicitation and distribute it
- Send viruses or other harmful code, or use the Service to harm others
Article 9 (Intellectual property)
- Rights to the Service's screen layout, calculation rules, original content, documents and software belong to the
operator. They may not be copied, distributed, modified or used to create derivative works without prior written consent.
- Bulk collection of content, analysis results or API responses by automated means (crawlers, scrapers, bots and so on)
without the operator's prior consent, and providing an identical or similar service using what was collected, are prohibited.
- Rights to source data such as prices and financials belong to each data provider and are subject to each provider's terms.
- Third-party components such as the chart library (TradingView Lightweight Charts™) and the typeface (Pretendard)
are subject to their own licenses.
Article 10 (Support contributions)
- The Service may accept voluntary support contributions. A contribution is voluntary support for development and
operation, and it is not exchanged for any analysis feature or information.
- Users of the same tier get the same features whether or not they contribute.
- A contribution is not a purchase of goods or services, so in principle it is not refunded. Payment errors are
handled according to the payment processor's policy.
Article 11 (Paid membership, payment and refunds)
- Membership is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription. Prices, benefits and discounts are stated on the pricing page.
The core value of membership is not analysis accuracy but a wider scope of use and automation and convenience features.
- Web payments are processed through the payment methods shown on the checkout screen, and the contract structure
depends on the method. (1) Domestic payment (Korean won, KRW): Processed through a Korean electronic payment
gateway (PG), and the purchase contract is made between the user and the operator. The PG only processes the payment
and is not a party to the sale. The domestic price is 4,900 won a month or 49,000 won a year (2 months free), and
the won amount shown is charged as is. (2) Overseas payment (US dollars, USD): May be processed through
Whop (operated by Whop Inc., based in the United States), a global Merchant of Record. In this case, the order and
payment take place on the Whop platform, Whop handles payment processing, receipts and transaction taxes, and Whop's
terms and policies may also apply. In either case, the operator, as the provider of the membership features,
decides refund eligibility according to the standards in this Article.
- Overseas payments (Whop) are charged in US dollars (USD). In this case, the won price is a reference for
Korean users, and the actual amount charged in won may vary with the exchange rate on the payment date and the
card issuer's foreign transaction fees.
- Membership is applied to your account and starts without delay once payment is confirmed.
If you pay through the checkout inside the Service screen while signed in, it is applied automatically as soon as the
payment is confirmed. If you pay through a channel not connected to your Service account (for example, paying
directly on the Whop platform), tell us the email used for the order at the official address
(support@conf-zone.com), and we apply it after checking. Price, billing cycle, whether it renews automatically,
how to cancel and the refund standards in this Article are shown on the screen before payment and in these Terms.
- Refund standard: If you ask at the official address (support@conf-zone.com) within 7 days of the payment date,
you get a full refund. This refund applies only once per account, to the first payment.
Otherwise, because this is a digital service that starts as soon as payment is made, no refund is given in principle.
Where applicable law grants a right of withdrawal or a refund, that law applies.
- Limits on abuse: If it is reasonably judged that the refund system is being abused, for example through
repeated payments and refunds or refund requests using many accounts, the operator may refuse the refund or
restrict the use of the account concerned.
- A subscription renews automatically each billing cycle unless canceled. After you cancel, the membership stays
until the end of the current billing period and then does not renew. Upgrades apply immediately, and downgrades
apply at the end of the current billing cycle.
- A Whop subscription can be managed under Manage or cancel subscription in MY. If you ask to delete your account
in the app, we confirm that automatic renewal has stopped and then delete the account. If this confirmation fails,
the account is kept and we guide you to support.
Once the account is deleted, you cannot use its paid features even for the rest of the paid period.
To use the remaining period, keep the account and stop only the automatic renewal. Deleting an account does not
mean an automatic refund. Refund requests are handled separately under the existing refund standard in this Article.
- For subscriptions paid through app stores (Apple App Store or Google Play), billing, renewal, cancellation and
refunds follow that store's policies and procedures, and the operator is not involved in the store's payment processing.
- Price changes are announced at least 30 days in advance and do not apply to an existing subscriber's current billing cycle.
Article 12 (Alert service)
- A membership alert is a status notice that a ticker you registered has met a condition you set or that the
Service has announced (for example, a confluence score reaching 70). It is not a solicitation or recommendation to buy or sell.
- Alerts may be delayed or missed because of circumstances in data collection, calculation or delivery, and the
operator does not guarantee that alerts arrive or arrive on time. Responsibility for trades based on alerts rests with the user.
Article 13 (Restrictions on use)
- If a user violates Article 8, or a risk to the Service or others (such as abuse or fraud) is found, the operator
may, without prior notice, take measures such as limiting request rates, restricting features, blocking IPs,
devices or accounts, or suspending or terminating paid services.
- If use is restricted because of a violation, refunds for the remaining subscription period may be limited. Where
necessary, the operator may take legal action and cooperate with investigative authorities.
Article 14 (Changes to and suspension of the Service)
- The operator may add to or change the content of the Service, or suspend it temporarily or permanently for
operational or technical reasons. Significant changes or suspensions are announced in advance, and paid users are
guided through a reasonable compensation process, such as a refund for the remaining period.
- The operator is not responsible for interruptions caused by force majeure, such as natural disasters, telecommunications failures or data provider failures.
Article 15 (Limitation of liability)
- The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator makes no warranties of any kind,
including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
- Unless there is intent or gross negligence, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or
consequential damages arising in connection with use of the Service, such as investment losses based on analysis
information, data errors or delays, delayed or missed alerts, or problems caused by the user's environment
(browser, network or device).
- Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights of users that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Article 16 (Governing law and jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes related to the Service are first to be
resolved through mutual discussion. If they are not resolved, they are brought before the court with jurisdiction
under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea.
Article 17 (Contact)
Inquiries about the Service and reports of rights infringement are received at the official address (support@conf-zone.com).
Article 18 (Language)
The Korean text of these Terms and of the Service's legal notices is the authoritative version. Even when the
Service screens and notices are provided in another language for convenience, the Korean text prevails if a
translation differs from it.
Investment disclosure
- All screens, scores, signals, warnings, alerts and backtests of Confluence Zone are reference information for
investment decisions. They are not investment solicitation, advice, discretionary management or brokerage.
- Past performance (backtests and past hit rates) does not guarantee future performance. Next to each backtest
result we show every condition needed to reproduce it (period, indicators, signal criteria, fills and costs), and
slippage is not included.
- Prices are delayed data (about 15 minutes for stocks), and the collection time is shown on screen. Financial data
may lag by a quarter, and the reference quarter is shown.
- The people named in the strategy analyses (Livermore, O'Neil, Minervini, Templeton, Dreman, Graham, Buffett,
Klarman, Lynch and Greenblatt) are only references for publicly known investment philosophies. These people and
their institutions have no connection with this Service and do not evaluate or recommend any security.
- Leveraged, derivative and margin trading can cause losses larger than the principal. Responsibility for investment
decisions and their results rests with the user.
Privacy Policy (summary)
See the Privacy Policy page for the full text. If this summary differs from the full text, the full text prevails.
- For guests (not signed in), no personal information is collected on our servers.
Settings such as watchlists and theme are stored only in your browser (localStorage).
- When you sign in, the only items collected are the member identifier and nickname (no contact details).
Email is kept only when you choose to register it on My Page, and you can delete it at any time. The
watchlist and alert registrations a member saves to the account are also kept, and when you request account
deletion in the app, all of it is destroyed immediately unless there is a server problem. If a server failure
leaves part of the cleanup unfinished, we tell you it is in progress and retry automatically until it is complete.
The detailed procedure follows the Privacy Policy.
- When paid payments are introduced, payments are processed by payment processors and app stores, and payment
method details such as card numbers are not stored on the Service's servers. Under the Act on Consumer Protection
in Electronic Commerce, related records are kept for the statutory periods, such as 5 years for contract and
payment records and 3 years for consumer dispute records.
- Access logs (request path and time) may remain on the server to improve the Service. Under the Protection of
Communications Secrets Act, they are kept for up to 3 months and then destroyed.
- No third-party advertising or tracking scripts are used. If any are introduced, this is announced in advance and
the necessary consent is obtained.
- You can exercise your privacy rights (access, correction, deletion, stopping processing) by contacting the official
address, and you can apply for dispute mediation to bodies such as the Personal Information Dispute Mediation
Committee (1833-6972) and the Personal Information Infringement Report Center (118).
